Tuscany

The Tuscany region is situated in Central Italy and it is divided into 10 provinces: Arezzo, Florence, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Massa-Carrara, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena. Tuscany stretches from the Apennine mountains, in the East, to the Tyrrhenian Sea, to the West. The region is characterized by Italian traditions, history and culture, but also by nature, breathtaking landscapes, medieval castles and more. There are many UNESCO World Heritage Sites to be seen here, the historic centre of Florence and Siena, the square of the Cathedral of Pisa, the Val d'Orcia and the Medici Villas and Gardens are only some of them.

Arezzo

The Province of Arezzo (or Arretium) is a province in the Tuscany region of Italy. Its capital city is Arezzo and the province is made out of 39 comuni. The province of Arezzo is divided into the areas of Casentino, Valdarno, Valtiberina and Val di Chiana, each offering magnificent landscapes for the many tourists visiting Arezzo each year. The area is very fascinating and filled with Italian main sights, such as the State Museum of Medieval and Modern Art, the Medici Fortress, the Cathedral, the Diocesan Museum and the Basilica of San Domenico.

The Province of Florence is situated in the Tuscany region, in Italy. It is formed out of 44 comuni and its capital is the beautiful city of Florence, which is also the capital city of the entire region. The Province of Livorno (or Leghorn) is a province in the Tuscany region of Italy. it includes the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, Elba, Gorgonia, Pianosa, Montecristo and Capraia, and its capital is the city of Livorno. A total of only 20 comuni form this province, but the territory is stunningly beautiful. being characterized by plains and hills. The coastline is known as "the Etruscan coast”. because of the traces left by the ancient civilization. main sights include Castiglioncello, Rosignano Marittimo, Marina di Cecina, Marina di Bibbona and the beautiful Gulf of Baratti.

Lucca

The Province of Lucca is a province in the Tuscany region of Italy. There are 35 comuni forming the province and its capital is the city of Lucca. The territory is divided into a few areas, the Versilia coast, Garfagnana, the Valle del Serchio and the Lucca plain. There are a few protected areas here, very beautiful, the Parco delle Alpi Apuane is one of them. Tourists also come here for the many seaside resorts, Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi being the most popular ones.

Massa-Carrara

The Province of Massa and Carrara, formerly known as the Province of Massa-Carrara until 2009, is a province in the Tuscany region, named after the two main cities in the area. There are 17 comuni forming the province. The territory is well known for its magnificent coastline and for the many tourist resorts in the area. Two nature parks are found here as well, but the main sights of the province are the Cathedral that is Carrara's main attraction and the Malaspina fortress, Massa's most important sight.
