Umbria
The Umbria region is situated in Central Italy and it is the only Italian region without a coastline. Umbria is divided into 2 provinces: Perugia and Terni and it is characterized by Italian history, traditions and artistic influence. The region is home for Central Italy's largest lake, Lake Trasimeno and for some Italian UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the town Assisi. Tourists also visit Umbria's oldest village, Gubbio, which has many Italian attractions to offer, Orvieto, with its famous Roman Catholic cathedral and Spoleto, a small Italian ancient town with thousands of years of history.
Perugia
The Province of Perugia is situated in the Umbria region, in Italy. It is the largest of the two provinces, comprising two thirds of the total area. A total of 59 comuni form the province and the capital city is Perugia. The area is characterized by charming villages, medieval paths and palaces and so much beauty. The province of Perugia is home to the largest lake in central Italy, Lake Trasimeno, which is itself home for the three Islands of Polvese, Maggiore and Minore. Among Italy's World Heritage Sites, Perugia is home for the Assisi, important destination for pilgrims and tourists from all around the world.

Terni
The Province of Terni is the smaller of the two provinces in Umbria. It consists out of 33 comuni and it has the city of Terni as its capital. terni combines ancient times with modern times, and it is surrounded by beauty all around. Also known as "the city of lovers", Terni is the place where the tomb of St. Valentine is found, resting in the Basilica of San Valentino. Other main sights include the Gothic Church of St. Francis, the Fausto Amphitheater, the remains of the ancient walls and many more.
