Terni

The Province of Terni is the smaller of the two provinces in Umbria. It consists out of 33 comuni and it has the city of Terni as its capital. terni combines ancient times with modern times, and it is surrounded by beauty all around. Also known as "the city of lovers", Terni is the place where the tomb of St. Valentine is found, resting in the Basilica of San Valentino. Other main sights include the Gothic Church of St. Francis, the Fausto Amphitheater, the remains of the ancient walls and many more.
