This year, on December 24th, the Basilica Palladiana opens its doors for anyone who wishes to visit some magnificent and quite famous works of art: "Egyptian tomb statues - including the gilded head of Tutankhamen - as well as masterpieces by Caravaggio, El Greco, Hopper, Rothko, and Van Gogh, among others." I always like to give up my sources, but I've actually heard about this from a friend who's crazy about art and stuff. The exhibition opens up the day before Christmas and it will be opened until June, 2015.
So... if any of you are going to come visit Italy and are in the neighborhood, maybe make a pit stop at the Palladiana Basilica I'm actually curious about going myself, it's not everyday you get to see the head of Tutankhamen!
