It actually is, but it is not a contest for everyone. Some people hate it, but I really like the music, and I like to think of it as a modern European tradition.

There are a lot of people on the internet saying that its songs are really bad, but I just like it. I don't know why, but I do.
 
I really think the Eurosong contest is pointless since the SSSR parted and Yugoslavia as well. The voting is meaningless because everybody is voting for the neighbours. I can't say I liked Italian songs recently, I rarely like any song on this contest, but some other songs were very good.
My favourite one is Turkey from 2004. They didn't win but they should have.
