The Province of Palermo is part of the island of Sicily and it is formed out of 82 comuni. The territory is characterized by the magnificent coastline, Palermo being a very famous destination among tourists. The most frequented beach is Mondello, the most visited town is Cefalu and the best place for scuba diving is the ancient fishing village of Sferracavallo.
