The Second Time Around

Someone in another post made a comment that got me thinking. They said that the second time you visit somewhere is never quite like the first. Do you believe that? Are subsequent visits to a place, in Italy or otherwise, not as fulfilling or somehow lacking in the magic?

I guess it depends on the destination. Sometimes it can be better on the second visit as you may discover things that you had never seen on your first visit.
