Rinse Or No Rinse? (when Making Pasta)

I have heard just about everything when it comes to reasons to rinse or not to rinse, which makes it even more frustrating that I am still not sure which one is better. I guess at this point it is just best to do what I am used to, and that is a no rinse for me.

:)Growing up, every Sunday our family would gather at my Mother and Fathers house for dinner. It would be Spaghetti and Meatballs, Salad, Cottage Cheese, and Garlic Bread.

I was always taught not to rinse the pasta after cooking. My mother always said the sauce adheres better when you don't rinse. On the other hand others rinse, if they want to stop the cooking process of the pasta. I think non rinsing is the best way, all of your Flavors seem to seep right in and stay there. Yummy :)
