I would pick of course lasagne. It's one of the most delicious meal I've ever eat.. and I'm not saying this because I'm italian but just because I've eaten plenty of meals and none can beat it..

I personally LOVE eggplant parm. It is definitely one of my favorite meals. However, it has to be cooked a certain way, a lot of restaurants and places don't have a good sauce and it ruins the dish.
I also really like Chicken Sorrentino. I think with Italian food (as with many other cuisines) the freshness of the food really makes a difference in the quality and taste.

Polenta! Polenta with anything really, add some gravy (I like it with mushrooms) and you'll be full. Also, rixi e bixi! This is in Venetian dialect, in Italian it would be riso e piselli, in English rice and peas. A lot of dishes contain pasta, and lasagna I'm afraid is also pasta! As people mentioned before me, I too love pizza and bruschette, I could eat them every day.

I might be mistaken here, but lasagna has to be considered pasta right? Or by pasta you just mean spaghetti and similar? Don't get me wrong, I love lasagna, but I see it as pasta.
