I can't say I enjoy seeing animals in captivity, but I understand there are a few places in Italy that are actually offering the experience of seeing animals in their natural habitat.
They are called Safari Parks or Fauna Parks, usually, and I have found a few in Northern Italy (where I live), but I'm not sure I actually found them all
This year, I simply asked around (friends, people at work...) about such places and a friend of mine recommended the "Le Cornelle" Zoo. We went, but it's just a regular zoo. Nothing extremely special, except for a few species of animals I haven't seen before.
Anyway, I was wondering, did anyone ever visit any interesting Safari park in Italy? One where you can see animals run around (almost) free, and not closed in a cage?
