Varese

The Province of Varese is part of the Lombardy region, in Italy, and it is formed out of 141 comuni. Situated at the base of the Alpine Hills, the province is characterized by many castles and valleys, woods and rivers. Ten glacial lakes make the province interesting as well, Lake Varese, Lake Maggiore, Lake Ceresio and Lake Verbano are the main ones. Many beautiful villas enrich the landscape, with their lovely gardens, parks and bell towers, not to mention the numerous villages spread all over the territory.
