Lodi

The Province of Lodi, formed out of 61 comuni, is part of the Lombardy region. Situated right in the middle of the Po Valley, the Province of Lodi is perfect for agricultural activities, but the area is filled with religious sanctuaries and medieval castles. Nature parks and protected areas characterize the province as well, the most famous one being the Regional Park of the Southern Adda, it's name deriving from the fact that the river Adda passes through the area. The Natural Reserve of Monticchie is very interesting as well, many farmhouses and mills characterizing it.
