Cagliari

The Province of Cagliari is a province situated on the island of Sardinia, autonomous region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Cagliari and the province is formed out of 71 comuni. The city of Cagliari is also the capital of the entire region of Sardinia. The province is home for the valley of Piscinamanna, very important area that hosts the main site of Technology Park, where many important research projects take place. Cagliari is also the place where one of Europe's most important ecosystems is, the Molentargius-Saline Regional Natural Park being home for more than a quarter of all European bird species.
