Again my spelling is probably really off on this one but it is a tasty treat that my mom makes so well. It has liquer in it, nuts and sponge with a melt in your mouth taste. Have any of you tried this and do you know what I am talking about?

No I actually don't but the next time my mother makes it will take a pic. I actually cant believe I haven't taken a photo because she always makes it look so interesting and presentable and we just take it for granted. Thank you for reminding me to appreciate my mothers cooking and to take interest in it!

Yes we are talking about zuccotto but I was talking about how my mother has made it and I have never appreciated how much she does and could have an album of recipes and photos if I could show more interest.

Thanks good to know! I am always looking for new recipes to try out. Especially in the Italian cuisine.
