Wood Fired Pizza Oven.

I would love to have one. A friend of mine has one in her house and it makes such a difference cooking pizza in there compared to in the oven. Since I don't have a wood fired pizza oven I often cook my pizza on the grill. I think it tastes better then in the oven.

No, but I have had brick oven pizza, it is really good. I would try a wood fired pizza anytime. It is amazing that people even grill pizza outside. Now, that would take some skill. I haven't tried it, but I would not have a problem doing it.

I would love to have one, if I had the funds and the property to put one on. But I've looked into the pricing of buying and installing one, and they can be quite expensive and labor intensive to install. Just to order the dome and have it shipped to you would cost quite a lot. Plus if you're a homeowner and have one installed on your property, such as in your back yard, I'm not sure if you would get your money back on it if you had to sell your place and move. I don't know if that would have mass appeal to most people, it may sway some people away who perhaps don't like to cook and don't want to be bothered having to demo it and remove it.

Actually, there are quite a few nice alternatives on the market these days that are more convenient. One of them is a table top pizza oven with a built in pizza stone and a dome lid, which gets nearly as hot as an actual pizza oven. Another option is a pizza oven add on for your outdoor grill. It's basically a metal ring that extends the height of your grill and it comes with a pizza stone that rests on it. There is a slot in the side for you to slide the pizza in and out.

No, I haven't I know that you all are probably going to hate me for this but I'm thinking of becoming a vegan. The pizzas I will be eating will have no cheese and they will not even be cooked. I'm seriously going to miss you baked oven pizza, before I go all the way over to the dark side I am going to make sure that I try wood oven pizza. Hopefully it will save me before I go full organic.

Sadly I don't own a wood fired oven but I have a big garden so I'm planning to have one built soon. One of my friends has it and every time he invites us over for dinner we're in a for a great treat! Pizza in a wood fired oven is amazing, it acquires a special flavor and I think it tastes way better than pizza made in a regular oven. Same goes for bread. Most of the italian pizzerias have wood fire ovens and the ones who have an electric oven are considered second class pizzerias. It really makes the difference!

I'm not sure that many people would have a wood fires oven in their own home, I know that I certainly don't anyway.

That's probably a good thing though, because if I did I could see me and my family living off pizza everynight, and we'd have to knock the doorways wider to get in and out the house!

In old school style restaurants, people still do this. I don't know whether it is because of the oven or if they use more expensive ingredients (since their hook is the old style scene), but the pizzas they serve are definitely better than the rest.

Of course! Since we were little my parents always cooked our pizza by themselves.

We usually use wood fired oven, that my father built in the backyard. I really love restaurant or fast food pizzas but the ones my mother makes are the best fore sure. Since I am living on my own, I can also make my own pizza dough and then cook it for myself. If you use homemade marinara, that's the best!

That is just the best way to have your pizza made. I have had an improvised oven and it worked very well. We actually have a small pizza place in Niš that has this 'oven'. I noticed that people never go there. I guess we are not used to good things here but it is very good indeed.

I don't use wood or oven though I have an oven the simple reason is because I am not good at making pizzas. Most times I feel like taking pizza I buy out.

IT is almost like magic as far as I am concerned. You could take the same pie and it could be terrible, and put it in a wood fired oven and you have it revived. I am not sure of the science behind it, but it seems to work every time. Needless to say, I am a fan.
