Why is it that this wine has suddenly become so expensive here in Britain? I love it but it increased in price around 20% over the last couple of months.

Vino Rioja is a Spanish wine from the northern province of La Rioja. I'm not too sure why the prices have increased in the UK but expect many Italian wine to increase too due to recent tax hikes in Italy which seem to have put the prices up on everything. (Not as much as 20% though)
Oh dear, my mistake! I could have sworn this was an Italian wine as I drink almost exclusively Italian wines. My wife must have bought this one by mistake, but it is certainly tasty!
The most important thing is that the wine is good. Not where it comes from.
