Why didnt they film all the new moon scenes in italy ?

Maybe it was because it was cheaper. Studio executives are like any other business people and do not like spending more money than absolutely necessary on any given production because there is never a guarantee that a movie will be a big success. To them, it's a huge gamble, sort of like a big roll of the dice in which lots of money is riding on a bet, except that in this case the size of the wager can be in the tens of millions.
So as great as it would have been to have had the interiors shot in Italy, the producers probably figured it was good enough to get the exteriors done and do the interiors Stateside.

Sorry don't know the reasons as to why they didn't film it all in Italy but probably financies and studio resources have a part to do with it. I haven't even seen the film.

My opinion is that it's definitely money oriented. There are a lot of costs associated with filming on location, no matter where it is. There are permits involved, weather issues, and all kinds of considerations. Sometimes they can go with stock shots and achieve their goals.
