There aren't too many Italian films streaming on Netflix, however I have one more that I see on there. It is called Perlasca. It is a 2002 drama about Giorgio Perlasca. He was an Italian business man working in Hungary for his government during World War II. It is based on the book La banalità del bene – Storia di Giorgio Perlasca by Enrico Deaglio. It is about his achievements in saving Jews in Hungary in 1944.
I would say to check out "The great beauty" which won an Oscar last year. It is really fascinating in my opinion and the actor are just mindblowing. Be sure to keep an eye on it.
I cannot help you about this question but I have one question to you. How big is offer for Italian movies in Netflix?
