I personally love such a variety of pastas, that I would have to say pasta! I love Italian cuisine so much and try to make it at home, but it never taste quit as good.

I love several types of pasta but my favorite type of Italian food of all is Pizza. It's probably the only type of food that I can eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are so many different variations of pizza and I guess that's why I love them. I think the best pizzas are Bolognese and Margarita.

I'm torn between pizza and pasta, but I think I'm going to have to go for pasta as it's just that little bit more diverse (only marginally though!). My favourite pasta dish is lasagne, but I love tortellini, ravioli and canneloni as well. Can you tell I like filled pasta? :p

Hands down my favorite food is Fettuccine Alfredo. There's something about it that's just so good. The best is when you add grilled chicken or eggplant to the dish. My grandfather had a recipe that his mother gave him and she went out of her way to teach it to my grandmother even though she was Irish. I have a whole book filled with recipes and notes about how to cook things and the best way to storage various items.

I don't think I've decided yet :D

I love pizza more than I love Italian pasta, but there are a lot of Italian foods I haven't tried yet.

For instance, I'd love to try some of their sweets and cookies. Tiramisu is great and all, but I have seen many more types of cakes and sweets that are typical Italian and I haven't tried them out yet!

Then there are the Italian steaks I heard are yummy, the recipes with rice and much more.

I have to eat out more often :D

I love both pasta and pizza, but in the long run I think I will choose pasta more. I just could eat it anytime, especially Carbonara. I love Carbonara! When I was younger I used to love pasta with red sauce more but it has all changed now :P

Has to be Pizza. Any food that can take anchovies and mushrooms (both of which I hate) and make them edible is a culinary miracle. It's also a food thatcan be enjoyed by anyone anytime anywhere so it bridges all social divides.

Boy, this is such a hard question! In my opinion, nothing beats Italian food, especially because virtually anything Italian is just so simple and so tasty. Pesto is just wonderful. But than you have such a different pasta as the red Matriciana or the egg's Carbonara. If you are to think about the Risotti that Italy offers, well, you could probably eat a different risotto every day without repeating yourself!
