The Valley Of The Temples - Agrigento’s Valle Dei Templi

  1. I've been interested in finding out about Greek ruins and temples and so I did. I'd already mentioned Agrigento several times. It was a great trading centre and an excellent location, so no wonder there are so many of them around here. The Valley of the Temples is an excellent location and attracts a lot of tourists. It's no wonder, really, there are a lot of us history lovers out there. Anyway, the Valley:

    You can find eight temples there and several ruins. They were all built between 510 BC and 430 BC (approximately).
    Here they are with their photos (if there's some mistake, which is possible, I'd after all got the photos from google and some were identical with different names - it was difficult to philter theme out, please let me know):
