In all the years that I have lived in Italy I tried for the first time Tartufo (truffles) the other day. Tartufo can be very expensive and is used sparingly but it has a very strong taste that I am not sure if I liked or disliked it. Looks like i'll have to try a second dish to see if it grows on me!

I haven't ever tried truffles although I have seen them used in loads of cookery programmes I like to watch. I like mushrooms so maybe I would like them.
