Well, it happens in Italy as well. Shootings seem to be happening a lot lately :(

Yesterday, an unemployed Italian, sick of what politicians are doing to this country, shot 2 policemen. He actually wanted to shoot some politicians but since he couldn't get to them, he shot at two policemen instead.

The 2 policemen are treated at the hospital as they were injured. So was a pregnant woman who was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

What do you think? Do you believe this is an "isolated incident" as newspapers say or do you think there's more to it?

Sadly, I think there is more to it than some crazy man going wild, the country needs change, we need more jobs and less tax. The financial crisis has hit Italy hard and the government seems to provide little help. Italy needs younger people in parliament and above all, Italy needs to reform it's welfare system.

My heart goes out to those two policeman that were shot whilst doing their jobs. Many people have lost their jobs and the government does very little to help them. No help, no money makes people do crazy things. If there was more help on a welfare level, I really do think there would be less incidents like this. I remember a while back there where a few people that set them self on fire because they could not cope anymore.

There are more and more people saying that the media keeps covering things up. They bring in arguments like "how come a crazy man has his hair done" or "how come the shots were perfectly aimed, to hurt but not to kill" etc.
I really don't know what to say anymore.
