I was at a restaurant before Christmas and they serve a seafood pasta that was absolute delicious. It had calamari, shrimp, scallops and chunks of crab in a white wine and tomato sauce. I'm going to try making it at home.

That sounds delicious. I would serve it with some crusty bread to dip into the sauce and a crisp green salad. What kind of pasta will you use?

I don't understand why I can't eat seafood.... The description sounds delicious! But every time I try to eat seafood, I feel like I'd rather eat mud... :D

I think it's the calamari.... they are like expired gummy-bears, it's how they taste to me.
I might try it out if you post the recipe soon :D If I don't like the seafood, at least I can eat around it and just have the pasta and sauce :D ahahah

It sounds delicious except for the calamari everything else sounds great. I love Italian food especially
pasta. I would like to learn how to cook all my favorites. I wish I could cook like the Italians.

I do love seafood pasta. When I can I try to make seafood lasagna or calamari. I would like to make a nice pasta with calamari, scallops and crab meat . Lets see how that goes.

I really enjoy seafood. Although I am not allergic to all of the sea animals, I do have to be picky about the ingredients. I could just eat a bowl of creamy pasta with shelled shrimp! I think creamy pasta and shrimp is a type of comfort food now. :) I don't know why, I just feel very happy when I eat creamy pasta and seafood.

It sounds pretty tasty and I'm a big fan of seafood. I'm guessing it's pretty easy to make as well, though getting the right balance for the white wine and tomato sauce would probably be the problem for me. Too much wine, not enough tomato...

My husband isnt a big fan ofred sauce. What i do is make a really cheesy sauce, add prawns and herbs ands the quickest, yummiest most appriciated Meal.

I love seafood. Christmas eve is one of my favorite meals of the year because we have so many different types of Seafood. I am not very good at cooking it though, so it is a treat when I go out to eat! I also usually always order the fish when I go to a wedding and love trying all the different sea food options in the cocktail hours.

Well, to me that sounds like the food of nightmares, as I can't stand to eat any kind of seafood. From fish and prawns through to crab and lobster, the smell and taste makes me physically nauseous so that would be one Italian dish I would definitely be avoiding!

I love seafood pasta especially those made with shrimp and lobster. Absolutely delicious. It's gona be awhile before I try making those at home though.

When it comes to food like this, I'd imagine that it would mostly be eaten in restaurants rather than home made, and while I've already said it's not a meal that I'd eat, a lot of people I know DO eat a lot of seafood but very rarely buy it to make and eat at home, and prefer to have it prepared and cooked for them.
