i would like to know which restaurants offer a great dining experience for tourists who don't really have enough spending money. could you guys please recommend some?
 
I think you would need to be more specific in terms of the area / city in order to suggest some places.

What type of food do you like?

Seafood, Meat, pizza etc... ?
 
When I went to Roma, I went to the most beautiful little eatery. I was so excited I kept saying to myself 'I am sitting in Rome in a real Italian restaurant' It was probably one of the highlights of my trip.

With regards to pricing, I think you are more likely to get better value for money out of major towns and cities and the costal resort areas can be a good place to try and get a god priced meal.

Well it depends upon the place and city where you are speaking of. In general most of the restaurants at the suburbs of the main city are worth trying and almost all of the coastal area restaurants are good and not too pricey.
