:) This one is so funny, I couldn't stop laughing when I read it!

It seems that Pope Francis loves to joke, but some of the things he says may be interpreted in the wrong way. Like, for instance, he keeps trying to be funny or smart by referring to women as "old maids" or the grandmother who is infertile and no longer vibrant! This one is actually the funniest, I'm gonna share it here and then you can go read the rest of the stuff yourselves:

“In many quarters we encounter a general impression of weariness and aging, of a Europe which is now a ‘grandmother,’ no longer fertile and vibrant. As a result, the great ideas which once inspired Europe seem to have lost their attraction“, the Pope said about a month ago, while addressing to the European Parliament. (I laughed so hard at this one!!)

Here's the rest of the article, if you wanna have a good laugh.
PS: I see these puns as harmless jokes, I'm sorry some women are actually offended by them! I'm sure the Pope is only human :D

I think i agree with you on this one. I wonder why the Pope does that .Well it might be because he is elderly and so may just be speaking from the perspective of an old man .

His analogies may not be appropriate with references to aging women. It probably is because he is an elderly man and his generation probably thinks and speaks that way. I would think that he has someone to help him with his speeches. Nevertheless, thus far this Pope has only drawn respect from me.
