Military Budget

I was just reading the news saying that the military budget for Italy was cut. I am seeing this as a sign of the crisis and not some strategic option. What do you say?
 
I am sure the Italian Government might have other pressing priorities to address and that was what necessitated this current action.It is possible that there are other ministries that are in serious need of those funds.
 
I agree with Joshua Italy is still in debt and isn't doing that well financially. With the support of other European nations if military crisis does happen, it sounds more beneficial for them to put money into things to help drive economic development.
