Do you enjoy your pasta meatless? Do you ever just enjoy a nice rich pasta sauce over home made noodles? How do you prefer your pasta?

Since I've been trying to eat less (and at best no) red meats, I've been eating my pasta with out meat. I generally eat it with vegetables any ways, so it's not big loss. I've made a good dish with chicken and zucchini though, and it was delicious!

At first, I think that I wouldn't survive eating meals without meat in it. After having eaten Italian food, my mindset was changed instantly. The first Italian recipe I've tasted is the classic Tomato, Basil, and Cheese Sandwich. I thought that this wouldn't taste good because I was used to eating sandwiches with chunks of chicken, beef and fish meat. After that moment, I instantly became a fan! Nowadays, when I want to eat lightly, I always grab that kind of sandwich; it's yummy, easy to make, and healthy all at the same time!

That is something to think about. I like pasta served with seafood. Shrimp, mushroom and fish fillet just go so well together. I have tried pasta with all sorts of sea food, like clams, different types of fishes, and they all tasted delicious. There are so many clam pasta recipes to try. What's hard is finding fresh clams, because you'd have to do some shopping. I can eat pasta with no meat, but I would need seafood once in a while. I can handle seafood pasta without the cheese, but the sauce needs to be perfect!

I have tried it meatless but to be honest I do prefer the meat, I know t is not great for you but I don't have it all of the time so I figure it is not too bad. Sometimes I will have it with quorn mince though which is just as good really!

There has to be meat in most of my dishes, unless there is a vegetarian coming for lunch, which is rare because I only know one person who is!

I think it also depends what type of pasta your cooking. My favorite is ravioli, it takes a little longer to make with having to freshly prepare your pasta and fill it, but it tastes really nice, especially if your making it all from scratch! Although, you can fill ravioli with a vegetable mix which is really tasty if you choose the right things to put in it!

If I had to choose whether to use meat or not, I would have to say yes!

I've preferred to have a meat on a Pasta dish. I tried to have a Tuna (a kind of fish) on a white pasta. It is very delicious when I combined with mozzarella cheese, mushroom and a sort of Basil. It is a healthy food, since it is Tuna rich in omega oil.

Love my pasta with a great chreese sauce or tomato sauce with cheese, lots of iy. My husband doesnt mind it with just cheese sauce but after a while he'll want it with meat

I like a simple white sauce, a simple tomato sauce or a few vegetables. I'm vegetarian anyway, so I've never tried meat or fish with pasta before. I really enjoy simple pasta - don't want to over complicate it.
