I guess everyone has heard the news by now, it happened just 2 weeks ago in Piacenza.

The 2 year old Luca died in his father's car, after the father left him there for several hours. He was supposed to take his baby to the kindergarten but forgot to and, if that's not tragic enough, he was the one to discover the little boy in his car, already dead from the heat :(

I actually shed a few tears for the little boy, although I'm sure he's with the angels now and he's happy in Heaven.

have you heard about the news? What do you think happened?

I just don't understand how one can forget their child in a car. A very sad way to go and a very tragic story. The inside of a car can become very hot if left under the sun. Sometimes when I get in mine after a day at work my steering wheel is too hot to touch.

I get that too! Even now, it's so hot I instantly start to sweat when I get in!

Back on topic, I have no idea how one forgets about their own child.
They say you can't judge a parent but... there's a but. Someone has to pay for the boy's death and I'm guessing it's going to be the father. I don't know if they are still investigating the case but last I've heard, the boy's father was first on the list.

It's clear that this wasn't murder! However, someone has to pay for this tragedy :(

I'm so sorry to hear about this. This is the first I've heard of it.

Ironically, just a couple of weeks ago, I watched an episode of CSI Miami in which the exact same thing happened. It looked like the father had forgotten about his little boy but of course, being a drama, it wasn't as straight forward as that.

If this was an accident, I agree with Luca, the father will pay for it every minute of every day for the rest of his life. God bless them, and God rest the poverino.
