Joe Bastianich

I watch the American Masterchef so it's inevitable to me to see Joe Bastianich. I wonder how famous is he in Italy, I am guessing he is huge right? Anyone watching this show, do you like him or not?

He was totally unknown in Italy before Masterchef Italia.
With the show he had an instant and huge success cause he talks italian with a funny accent
Now everyone is talking like Bastianich to make fun.

LOL, so he became famous because of the show? I thought it was the opposite, it's great to know this inside information. He does look a bit like a snob, but funny even so.

I also watch Masterchef US. I like it a hell of a lot more than Masterchef Australia. And least there is some real competition and confrontation in the US version. Bastianich does seem to have special bias when judging Italian contestants. That can be good and bad for them. But for the most part the three judges usually agree with one another. Ramsey and Bastianich sometimes differ on plates.

Yep, no possible comparison with Masterchef Australia, that one looks like a soap opera. I think that they gathered a good team and Bastianich plays a good role, the demanding guy, great for Italy I suppose.
