Italy Biggest Beer Festival - Casoni

Next month we will see the return of Italy biggest beer festival at Casoni.

This year the event will be from the 17th to 27 July 2009.

I like italian beer festivals, as long as the people don't get too drunk and start doing stupid things. Once, a guy jumped over a bridge and fell in the water. I can't remember if this happened at a beer festival or at some other celebration, but this is the kind of thing that actually happens.

I went to the festival last year and they had downgraded to weekends only instead of daily events. I have heard that this year the Festa Della Birra will not take place at all.

 

[Rosie]

Really? That's so sad. I understand this recession is hurting everyone but this doesn't mean Italy should cut down all the festivals.

First Sanremo, and now this?
At lest they're still trying for the smaller ones, I think there's a beer festival in Milan at the end of this month.
