This is a very influential and famous Italian film, that you've perhaps seen in English.
L'ultimo Bacio (the last kiss), 2001. There was an American remake, but I like this one much more.
La meglio gioventù, 2003. This is a TV drama that I haven't actually seen, but it's been recommended to me on multiple occasions.

There is an entire foreign films section on Netflix that you can browse through and find movies. You will probably be surprised by quite a few quality Italian movies that they also have streaming.
Marriage Italian Style stars Sophia Loren. It is currently available for instant play or DVD rental. It is about a man who is about to marry, but when he learns that his mistress Filumena Marturano (Sophia Loren) is ill, he stays by her side, learning later that it was a ploy by her to get him to marry her instead.
There are a great selection of foreign movies on Netflix. I do on occasion scroll through them. I like to venture out and experience new culture. The movie Twice Born (Venuto Al Mondo) is something to check out. It is a great film to see and it may even make you cry. Enjoy!
