I noticed that Italians have a ton of types of cheese. I'm not sure if I can ever try them all, although I would love to!
What are your favorite types of Italian cheese?

I love Gouda and Parma-Reggio cheeses. They taste so rich and full of flavor. I actually eat those cheeses as snacks by themselves. They're also great with wine.

My favorite Italian cheeses are Gouda. It is my all time favorite and you will ALWAYS find it in my fridge. It is so creamy and rich. I was first introduced to it the first time I visited Italy and I was so happy to find it in our grocery stores here in Canada! :)

I love Gouda. I was skeptical at first. I thought it would be strange. I love the smokiness of the cheese. It makes any sandwich so sensational.

My favorite types of cheese are Gouda, Brie, and Mozzarella (the latter being the only Italian cheese that I favor to buy from grocery stores). I actually don't experiment a lot when it comes to different kinds of cheese because the first time I tried something else, which was Blue Cheese, I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth for a really long time. That bothered me, so I stick to just these three.

I love cheese and one of my favourites is the Italian classic Gorgonzola. It is a creamy blue veined cheese and I believe it is produced in Northern Italy. It has quite a strong flavour but is tempered by the creaminess and it is certainly not as strong as some other blue cheeses - such as Stilton.

Gorgonzola is well complemented by sweet flavours so goes very well with fruit such as grapes or apple. But my favourite way to eat it is on crackers with a drizzle of honey - bellissimo!! :)
