Italian Astronaut Luca Parmitano Had a problem on his spacewalk Tuesday after his helmet started leaking water. They say he was never in too much danger but they had to call off the spacewalk because the water was floating in his eyes and he could not hear instructions from the ground.

There are some apps that you can put your location into and they will tell you when you can see the ISS go by and wave to Luca!

I was reading about this this morning. It's good to hear that he is safe and they made the right decision to call of the walk.

It can't be very comfortable with water floating around your face.

They said he looked miserable but was OK. At least he just received a care package of Italian food! He even shared it with the other astronauts.

I'm so glad he's alright!

I read that NASA estimated about 1 1/2 liters of water leaked into his helmet and space suit. It was quite dangerous.

The flight director, David Korth, said that spacewalking is a dangerous thing to do anyway. He also said: "go stick your head in a fishbowl and try to walk around. That's not anything that you take lightly", which is practically what happened.
