Is Padua The Oldest City In Italy?

Discussion in 'Padova' started by Adriano89, Mar 17, 2014.

  1. Wikipedia says so, but I'm not quite sure.
There are so many old cities in Italy, how can you know for sure which is the oldest?
As a curiosity, I heard Piacenza is among the oldest cities in Europe.... but now that I heard about Padua (and on a very trustworthy website..) I think whoever told me about Piacenza lied to me :D
    Not sure what to think.
    Any thoughts?
