how to contact Enel

I need to send a contract to Enel from the UK. I have a fax no. but its no good from abroad.I have an email address but emails come back.I have a phone no but the different options are bewildering and anyway there's no human being available to give me the info. Can someone please help?
 
what fax number do you have.

Sometimes when calling or faxing to Italy (fixed line numbers) from abroad you need to keep the 0 in there after the country code. If you are calling a mobile number then take out the zero.


for example. (fixed line)

From Italy:

09 123 4567

From abroad: 0039 09 123 4567

If that does not work, tell us the fax number you have.
 
the no I have is 800900150 and of course i wd put 0039 in front.When i dial it I get a voice saying in English the no. is not recognised.

I was not referring to the 0039 part, i was refering to the 0. like when you call a number in the uk from abroad you take out the 0. (0207 123 4567 becomes 0044 207 123 4567) in italy you leave the zero in there.

The number is a freephone number only valid in Italy. i just called enel for you and they said that they do not have any other fax numbers that you can use from abroad (its a bit daft!)

They suggest that you send it by post.

You can try and find an Italian fax service site in google (try 'invia fax' as search words) if its really urgent. I have just tried with a fax account that i have (sent ok) using skypho. Their site is skpho.net You can get a free italian phone and fax number from them. just top up and start calling or sending faxes staright away (from your PC)
 
thanks so much chillout for your replies and for calling Enel.You have confirmed my fears so I will have to post the contract. If it happens again I may try to get an Italian phone.
 
Did you ever find out an international fax number for Enel Robert?


I managed to get the international telephone number just in case anyone needs it.

Enel International Telephone = 0039 06 64511012
