Hotel Or B&b

I recently went to Rome for a long weekend and stayed in a B&B which I selected on booking.com.
To be honest, I actually found it better than a hotel as it seemed so much more peaceful. One of the main points that I really enjoyed was the fact that breakfast was served in our room which was a pleasant change after being used to staying in hotels.

Often in the UK we get a mix of standards with B&Bs. Some of them can be amazing while others can be the worst thing you can do to your holiday. It's honestly just a hit and miss process you can't really tell unless you stay there reviews do help but I often find it's best to go with the bigger hotel. I'm planning a trip to Italy after much pestering and begging and I cannot wait. I do not want to ruin my trip in any way whatsoever. What are B&Bs like in Italy and would I be better off staying in a hotel I really do not want to go over a £150 per night
I have found out that the best inexpensive way to travel, whether you are going to Italy or another area is through online sources, unless you have Family and Friends where you are traveling to stay with etc.. I use Air B&B a lot, you get fantastic airfare prices and also good rates on Hotels or Bed and Breakfast Spots.

Ideally, I would have to think that I would prefer the B&B, but when you start to factor in the locations and the prices, it is probably just so much easier to take the hotel route. Maybe not for each place or time, but I would think more often than not.

I think it depends on which of the deals work out best for you. I would have to compare the BB and hotel route and if possible take a look at reviews from persons who have experienced both before any decision
