Do you guys enjoy watching world records being established or beaten?
In Italy, there is a show on TV, called "Lo show dei record", it's been on since 2006 (ok, it's been on and off, now it's on again!) and it shows new world records being established, right then and there. It's not a live show, but it's much more interesting than most TV shows I've seen :)

Basically, people from all over the world come to this show and try out their best to establish a new record, beat up an old one or beat up their own record! It's really interesting and fun to watch.

The first 'episode' of the 2015 season was on last night. Did you guys watch it? Also, is it possible to watch the show, even if you're not in Italy?

Looks like a cool show. I've done a quick torrent search on it and haven't found anything, so I don't THINK it's readily available outside of Italy

I don't think the show is available outside of Italy either and it doesn't seemed to be streaming online either. It would be fun to watch. I don't think we have anything like that in US. The fad out here is reality shows, which I truly don't care for. I think it would be so much more meaningful to watch a real persons moment of achievement in making a world record rather than the daily drama of a persons life which seems exaggerated.

Ooh, that sounds very interesting! Though Regina is right, I don't think we have anything like that here in the States. The books of world records is popular, and sometimes you can find videos of certain records being broken on YouTube, but not always. It sounds like it would be a neat show to watch though!

Seems to be a cool tv show because I like to see world records of everything. Not sure if I can get this channel in the states though. Italy has some great programming that the U.S should adopt and replicate.
