Have you ever had a problem with a utility company?

Well, I have heard that the federconsumatori can help resolve issues between the client and service provider. From my understanding, you have to pay a yearly fee to get advice and use their services.

Has anyone ever used them?

I never even heard of them, what do they do exactly?
And, what utility companies can they help you with?

Of course, I'm not keen on the idea of paying yearly fees to a company that I might not even need, but I have had some problems with Enel in the past and some extra help would have solved the problems a lot faster :D

I am sure they are union of some sort. In fact, from what I have heard they are like the CGIL but specialize in the consumer rights sector

I don't agree with having to pay for such a service but if you need legal advice or help, it may be cheaper than paying a lawyer.
