Did anyone of you ever see a Fashion Week in Milan?

It occurred to me that it is the sort of thing that people travel for, if they have a passion for fashion, of course.

I saw a lot of pretty cool pictures of people in Milan on the street fashion blog of thesartorialist.com lately! Did anyone of you ever go see a fashion show? If so, how was it? If not -- would you want to?

Fashion week is quite a place to be in any city. It seems like in the States, they focus on New York Fashion Week as the place to be. However, I can imagine that as Milan is the fashion hub of the world, its Fashion Week is the ultimate one to attend. I can imagine if you are in with the right crowd that you can come out with the hottest seats and a whole bunch of swag. Does a regular person, who buys and average ticket still get some swag?

Hah, I've never even been to Fashion Week in New York, and I only live roughly 4 hours from there! But I would love to go see Fashion Week in Milan!! Just for the amazing photos, if nothing else.

I would love to go to fashion week in Milan Italy. The entire vibe looks very cool from what I see on tv. Just being in that atmosphere would make me feel like I'm apart of something great. I will save up this year for a future trip.

Everyone should go. It's supposed to be fun, but I also have never been to a fashion week anywhere in the world. That doesn't stop me from going over YouTube videos of the event. It does look crowded from the photographs.

No, I've never been. Yes, I'd love to go.

Milan is a place to see when it comes to fashion, after all, isn't it? I bet it would be an extraordinary experience, but also very expensive (I think). I love watching fashion shows on TV. I also love travelling. But at the moment, travelling is out of option, so fashion week is TV time, I guess. Maybe one year...

Milan itself isn't as expensive as somewhere like Rome or Paris (I've only been there a few days though so I can't be 100% sure), but I think tickets to get inside fashion week would be pretty pricey, IF they're even open to the public

I've watched the fashion week in Milan for years, I have those big stairs in my imaginary, it's an iconic image for all the world I am assuming and one of the main fashion events.
