Disappointed With San Remo

Last year my friends and I were considering a trip to San Remo at the end of May. I researched this resort extensively, but was extremely disappointed with what I found out. There appears to be very few hotels in San Remo, and also very little to do! I was shocked, as I had seen a lot of photos of the resort and it looked extremely upscale and quite exclusive.

Has anyone been? If so, what were your impressions?

I haven't been to San Remo ever, but I agree there is probably little to do over there :)
It's a small area, but it does have the beaches which are filled with tourists. If you're just looking to enjoy a nice tan and swim in the sea, then it's perfect. Otherwise... yeah.. not a lot of stuff to do. Except, of course, if you're visiting it when they're having the San Remo festival, but with ho much a ticket costs, I'd rather listen to the radio at home :D LOL :D

The very best place to visit in Italy is Sardegna: the sea is spectacular. San Remo is famous only for the festival in February... and the flowers. :)
