The Province of Verona is a province in the Veneto region of Italy and its capital is the city of Verona. The province is made out of 98 comuni. The territory is characterized mostly by hils, beaches and green areas and it is probably best known for being the place where William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet takes place, The Casa di Giulietta (Juliet Capulet's villa in the play) being a very important local tourist attraction. Numerous other main sights are attracting visitors to Verona as well, castles, towers, hermitages, monasteries and sanctuaries being only a few of them.
