Ogliastra
The province of Ogliastra is situated in the region of Sardinia, in Italy. It is the most mountainous province on the island. With only 58,000 inhabitants and only 23 total comuni forming it, Ogliastra is the least populated province of Italy. Despite the small size, the province has two capitals, the cities of Lanusei and Tortolì. There are two beautiful lakes in this province, Lower Lake Flumendosa and Upper Lake Flumendosa, but what is very characteristic to this area are the wild olive trees, hence the province's name, Ogliastra.
