Medio Campidano

The province of Medio Campidano is part of the Sardinia region, in Italy. It is formed out of 28 comuni and it was officially created in 2005. The capital cities, two of them, are Sanluri and Villacidro. the territory is characterized by many forms of relief: sea, mountains, plains and hills, and it is also called the ‘Green Province’, because it is situated in the most pristine areas of the region. One of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites is found here, Su Nuraxi (or, The Nuraghi) being an extremely valuable and important archaeological site.
