Caserta

The Province of Caserta is situated in the Campania region in Italy and it has a population of almost 1 million inhabitants. The Royal Palace of Caserta, the largest palace and one of the largest buildings erected in Europe during the 18th century, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is part of Caserta's charm. Touristic attractions in Caserta include nature parks, nature reserves and protected areas but orchards, vineyards and olive groves are also characteristic for the region. Italian history is part of the province as well, ancient villages, museums and roman remains being part of Caserta's main sights.
